STAIGER & SONS 1925 Art Deco Tie-Pin Brooch In Platinum With VS Diamonds

This is a beautiful tie-pin brooch created in New York City during the art-deco period, back in 1925. The stunning pin was manufactured by the jewelers of Staiger & Sons, which were located at 527 5th Ave. in New York NY. Masterfully crafted in solid platinum and embellished with thirteen natural earth mined diamonds including a magnificent marquise cut. The diamonds settings are decorated with Mille-graining and is fitted with a stick pin with a security push.
Diamonds: Mount in flush dots settings, with 12 European round brilliant cuts diamonds, with a total weight of about 0.86 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS clarity.
Diamonds: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 European marquise cut diamond, with a weight of about 0.12 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS clarity.
Weight: 2.95 Grams, (1.90 Dwt).
Measurements: 40 mm by 9 mm by 9 mm (1.60 x 0.35 x 0.35Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark symbol, the mark for the assay of the platinum and the iridium and clearly signed as follow: "-S- IRID-PLAT".
