SPANISH 1960 Barcelona Enameled Desk Box In .925 Sterling Silver & Cedar-Wood

This is an extraordinary piece of Spanish silversmith, created in the city of Barcelona during the post-war and the mid-century periods, back in the 1960's. This rectangular desk box is highly decorated and display fabulous. Has been carefully crafted in cedar wood and decorated with parts made-up in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. The sterling silver panel on top is decorated with an artistic composition accented with hard glass enamels of different colors. This box is a classic Spanish art & craft and unique Barcelona modernist style. The lid of the box is secured with a pair of concealed hinges.
