Fabulous and rare antique table petrol lighter, created in Vienna Austria by the Karl Glazer Metallwarenfabrik, back in the 1932-1933. This unusual and lovely semi automatic lighter has been crafted in the shape of a Schnauzer or a Black Terrier Dog in solid patinated metal and brass. The doggie is showed in seated position and is decorated with a collar which is accented with red lacquer. The head is fitted at the reverse with a concealed hinge to be opened and activate the lighter mechanism in the interior. A great conversation antique piece.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and signed, "KG AUSTRIAN PATENT ANG".
