*Van Cleef & Arpels 1960 Paris large feather brooch in solid 18 kt yellow gold

Beautiful and iconic pin-brooch made in Paris France during the mid-century period, circa around the 1960's. Was created as a three-dimensional single feather with optical effect. Crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and suited with a hinged double pins, one of them with a trombone lock as usual.

This piece have a total weight of 20.9 grams and a measures of 89 mm by 18 mm (3.5 x 0.71 inches).

Stamped with clear national French hallmarks; 4 times with the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, the unique serial numbers and signed, "VAN CLEEF ET ARPELS 77867".

A gorgeous very chic example of the 1960's French jewelry in impeccable condition.
