Pair of earrings designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co.

Rare and iconic elegant pieces created back in the 1974 in New York city at the Tiffany & Co. Atelier. This Polka-Dots earrings, was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish. They are suited with omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option can be easily added,

Embellished with multiples free forms carvings of natural white nacre inlaid in the gold. This positive and negative patterns are one of the most popular design of Cummings and actually this model is discontinued.

Have a total weight of 18.2 grams and a measures of 23 mm by 18 mm. 

Stamped, with the maker's mark, the serial numbers, the assay gold hallmarks and signed, "TIFFANY & Co. C. .18 KT".

Angela Cummings, was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.

Very nice collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.
