Mid-Century earrings designed by Tiffany & Co.

A beautiful pair of earrings, created in New York city at the Tiffany & Co. studios during the post war mid century period, back in the 1950. These pieces has been crafted in the shape of leaves in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished surfaces. The earrings are fitted at the reverse with posts for pierced ears and twisted screws backs.

Diamonds: Mounted in four-prongs settings, with 6 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.30 carats, white colorless F Color, VS-2 Clarity

Rubies: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 18 round faceted cut of natural vivid red rubies with 0.90 carats.

Weight: 8.20 Grams, (5.26 Dwt).

Measurements: 28 mm by 23 mm (1.10 x 0.90 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the inventory numbers and signed, "TIFFANY & CO. 14KT 6051".

Note: George Schuler, designed many similar pieces like this for the houses of Cartier, Tiffany & Co. and VCA in New York. All his models and designs including these ones, has been patented.

Collateral: This set is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

ConditionThe overall condition of this suite is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. Thes pieces has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
