French 1960 Rare Seated Meditating Buddha Large Pendant In Solid 18Kt Yellow Gold

French pendant with a seated meditating Buddha.

Very unusual and elusive piece, created in Paris France, back in the early 1970's. This beautiful seated Buddha pendant has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with brushed and polished finish. Designed with a very conceptual and symbolic thoughts that shows the figure of Buddha, seated and enthroned on lotus flowers, meditating peacefully.

Suited at the reverse, with a big bale of 10 mm to be weared in a chain or necklace.

It is pretty heavy and large, with a total weight of 36.2 Grams and a measurements of 33.5 mm by 62 mm (1.32 x 2.44 Inches).

Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold and the maker's maitre cartouche Ste L. (Societe L.).

Condition: The overall condition of this pendant is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and the authenticity.
