A pair of earrings designed by Ilias Lalaounis.

Rare vintage early pair of swirl earrings created during the mid-century period, circa 1960. They are part of the Classical and Hellenistic Greece collection and was crafted in solid 18 karats yellow gold with textured surfaces.

Suited with comfortable omega backs for fastening clips and mounted with a pair of round cabochons cut (4.5 mm) of natural Burmese red rubies with a total weight of 1.20 carats.

Have a total weight of 16.5 Grams and a measures of 30 mm by 26 mm (1.18 x 1.02 Inches).

Both are stamped with the maker's logo and signed. "LALAOUNIS A-21 .750".
