An articulated industrial necklace.

Very unusual avantgard studio piece, made in the northern Europe back in the 1930's. This articulated necklace was created with art deco and industrial patterns in coin silver .900/.999 with accents in 18 karats yellow gold. Made up with the parameters of the Bauhaus philosophy, the design is composed by 13 concave elements connected by pins similar to a naive bicycle chain. 

Weight: 114.25 Grams, (73.23 Dwt).

Measurements: 16 Inches (40.64 Cm) and a width of 21 mm.

Hallmarks: No marks, tested for silver .900 and 18 karats yellow gold.

Note: The Bauhaus style tends to feature simple geometric shapes like rectangles and spheres, without elaborate decorations. Buildings, furniture, jewelry and fonts often feature rounded corners and sometimes rounded walls. Other structures are characterized by rectangular features, for example protruding balconies with flat, chunky railings facing the street, and long banks of windows. furniture often uses chrome metal pipes that curve at corners.
