French Neo classic gold sautoir chain.
Gorgeous piece of neo-classic jewelry, created in Paris, France during the third empire (Napoleon III 1852-1870) period, circa 1870. It was completely crafted with impeccable and intricate details in solid yellow gold of 18 karats.
Is composed by 49 links (4 x 15 mm) of neoclassical motifs with textured patterns. At the ends has a security lobster closure which in turn can be used to hang a charm or a big pendant. Can be wear as single, double or triple twisted.
Has a total weight of 44.3 Grams and a full extended lenght of 48 Inches (122 Cm) or 1.2 meters.
Stamped, with French hallmarks from the stated period.
