Exceptionally beautiful necklace, created in Roma Italy by the fine jewelry house of Cazzaniga. This piece have been crafted with intricate baroque revival patterns in solid yellow and white gold of 18 karats with incised textured finish. Fitted with an integrated lobster security lock and a round loop to attach some pendant.
Diamonds: Bezel set with 2 princess cut diamonds, 0.45 carats, E/F color, VS-2 clarity.
Weight: 71.85 Grams, (45.06 Dwt).
Measurements: Length of 23.6 Inches (60 Cm).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the Italian contro mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed in full, "CAZZANIGA ROMA .750 *219 ROMA".
Cazzaniga was founded in Rome in the 1929 by Angelo Giorgio Cazzaniga (1908-1973) in a place close to the famous Trevi fountain. Today, since the 1973 his son, Paolo Cazzaniga run the business. Still located in Rome but in a new location, 18 Passeggiata di Ripetta. Gazzaniga's salon is now by appointment, continuing to create only, one of a kind pieces for a very select clientele.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. Both diamonds are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
