Fabulous one of a kind cocktail ring, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 2015. This sculptural ring is extremely rare and only one exist, with this variant of gemstones. Has been designed as a fancy bombé style cluster, set with a multitude of polished, torpedo-shaped pieces of green malachite, each with a round faceted cut rubies on top. This Cartier Nouvelle Vague ring was crafted in solid rose gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. This celebrates the sculptural possibilities of luscious green malachite. A unique design, the Paris Nouvelle Vague collection is dedicated to celebrating the freethinking, joyful and mysterious style of the Parisian woman, who is a constant source of inspiration to the Maison. This ring should be a very important addition to any collection of high end design jewelry.
The "Paris Nouvelle Vague" collection was launched in 1999 and was aimed at the more youthful end of the market, to encourage them to be returning clients. The designs were inspired by the spirit of Paris, its architecture, the curves and waves of the Seine, its romance, elegance and vivacity. New techniques and methods such as CAD and 3D printing encouraged more freedom of design. Many years of work went into the designs and because of complexity of the pieces many could only be made in very limited numbers, each one with different variants, which made each piece an unique creation. Malachite: Mounted by screwed settings, with 33 calibrated cylinders bullet cut (6 x 6 x 12 mm) carved from natural Hungarian green malachite.
Rubies: Mounted in bezel settings, with 33 calibrated round faceted cut of red rubies, with 2.04 carats.
Birthstone: Rubies for the month of July and malachite for May.
Weight: 61.65 Grams, (39.52 Dwt).
Size: 7 can be specially sized.
Measurements: 45 mm by 45 mm (1.77 x 1.77 Inches) and raise 26 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks Stamped with French marks, the head of the eagle for the warranty and assay of the 18kt gold, the maker's mark KN inside a lozange cartouche, the mark for the assay of the gold, the six digits serial numbers and signed, "©CARTIER 53 AU.750 887421".
Collateral: It is accompanied by the designer's presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and the authenticity.
