BURBERRY Modernist 1960 Cloisonné Enamel Belt Collar In Sterling Silver & Garnets
Modernist chain necklace designed by Burberry
This is a beautiful long belt-collar created during the modernist period by Burberry, back in the 1960's. This rare piece has been masterfully crafted in solid .925/1000 sterling silver with high polished finish and embellished with geometric patterns, made up in enameled cloisonne. Mounted with sixteen vivid red garnets and fitted with a concealed security sliding lock.
Garnets: Mounted in bezel settings, with 16 calibrated round cabochons cuts (10 mm) of natural red garnets with a total weight of about 48 carats.
Weight: 187.75 grams (120.35).
Length: 32 inches (81.3 cm).
Measurements: Each round link is 26 mm (1.02 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the .925 silver and signed in full as follows, "SML & CO. STERLING".
Collateral: This Burberry belt-collar is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
