An iconic piece, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 1970-1980. The design feature the stylized Panther Animal, hanging from the body to the right with the eyes and the nose accented with details in yellow gold of 18 karats. The body of the Panthere is made up of blackened silverium, a classic piece from Cartier.
The Panthere has been the symbol of the house of Cartier since the 1914. The panther, the symbolic animal of Cartier, made its first appearance in the house collections in the 1914. The jeweler Mo. Louis Cartier was the first to tame the mythic animal. His colleague mademoiselle Jeanne Toussaint was the artistic director of the Paris Cartier's brand and was the responsible to turned it into an iconic legend, the panther can be fierce, playful, or lovable, displaying all the facets of its liberated personality from one collection to the next one for over more of 100 years.
