ART-DECO 1930 Graduated Jadeite Green Jade Necklace Sautoir In Platinum & Diamonds
An American art deco graduated green jade necklace.
This is a fabulous long necklace sautoir created during the Art Deco period, back in 1930. The necklace is composed by one-hundred-twenty-three graduated beads carved from natural jadeite jade and a security boxed lock crafted in solid .900/.999 platinum, which is embellished with seven white colorless European cut diamonds. This long strand necklace was carefully knotted with vibrant bright jadeite green jade beads, graduating in sizes from 6.0 mm to 10.0 mm. Very well matched in translucent green to pastel light green color with moderately strong mottling. The necklace was recently re-stranded and cleaned. Green jadeite is a deeply revered stone symbolizing good luck, prosperity, health, and longevity, often considered a protector that brings harmony and balance. Known as a "growth crystal" and "Stone of Heaven," it represents renewal, attracts wealth and success, and is cherished for its vivid green color.
Green Jade: Stranded with 123 round beads graduated between 6 to 10 mm and carved from natural jadeite green jade, with an approximate total weight of 443.50 carats.
Birthstone: Green jade for the month of August.
Diamonds: The platinum security lock is mounted in a flat-prong settings, with 7 old European round cuts diamonds with a combined weight of about 0.88 carats. white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.

Condition: The overall condition of this art-deco green jade necklace sautoir is excellent. Beside the little normal wear there is no damage to the platinum. The 123 beads and the 7 diamonds are secured and beads were recently re-stranded. This necklace was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
