Necklace with key pendant designed by Angela Cummings.
This is beautiful and rare key pendant-chain, created by Angela Cummings, back in the late 1980's. The modernist piece has been crafted in the shape of three-dimensional large key, made up in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and a stupendous carving of translucent reddish carnelian. The pendant is fitted with a chain of twenty-four inches.
Pearls: Mounted in bezel settings, with 4 cultured white round pearls of 4 mm.
Birthstone: Carnelian for the month of July and pearls for June.
Weight: 34.25 Grams, (21.96 Dwt.).
Length: The chain is 24 Inches, (61 Cm).
Measures: 72 mm by 32 mm by 7 mm (2.84 x 1.26 x 0.28 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the .750/.999 gold and signed as follows, "CUMMINGS 18K".
Angela Cummings
She was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She takes her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business. This are very nice and rare collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.

Condition: The overall condition of this Angela Cummings necklace chain is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 4 pearls are secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
