An art-deco diamonds ring designed by Samuel Mayor.

This is a fabulous eternity ring with graduated diamonds created in America during the late art-deco period by Samuel Mayor, back in the 1940. The ring has been masterfully crafted in solid .900/.999 platinum and .100/.999 iridium, with high polished finish and embellished with a great selection of seventy-two natural earth mined white colorless diamonds. The craftsmanship of this ring is stupendous with great settings and nice eye appeal.

Period: Late art-deco, Circa 1940.

Diamonds: Mounted in the center in V-shaped settings, with 24 graduated marquise brilliant cut diamonds, with a total estimate weight of about 3.22 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.

Diamonds: Mounted in two lines of five-prongs settings, with 48 graduated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total estimate weight of about 1.92 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.

Birthstone: Diamonds for the month of April.

Weight: 11.95 Grams, (7.75 Dwt).

Size: 5 and may be resized up or down on special request with a collar adjuster or adding diamonds.

Measurements: The widest section on top is 13 mm (0.51 Inches) and raise 4 mm over the finger.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark associated to Samuel Mayor, the marks for the assay of the platinum and the iridium and signed as follows; "MAYOR 10%IRID PLAT".

Samuel Mayor

Mayors Jewelers was founded in 1910 by Samuel Mayor Getz in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company moved to Florida in the 1930s and opened its first store in downtown Miami. Over the years, Mayors expanded, with Irving Getz taking over the business in 1947 and Samuel A. Getz joining full-time in 1980. The company was purchased by Aurum Group USA in 2017. In 2019, Mayors was acquired by Watches of Switzerland Group. Today, Mayors operates as a luxury retailer, offering a wide selection of jewelry and watches.
