VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Alhambra Brooch In 18Kt Gold With 2.16 Cwt VVS Diamonds
An Alhambra brooch designed by Van Cleef & Arpels.
This is a fabulous large brooch created in Paris by the French jewelry house of Van Cleef & Arpels, back in the 1990's. The brooch has been crafted in the shape of several stylized Alhambra clover motifs and five-points stars in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The clovers are embellished with a great assortment of thirty-six natural white colorless diamonds. The brooch is fitted at the reverse with a concealed hinge pin bar and a trombone security lock. As a note this model was produced in very limited quantities and actually is an important collector's piece.

Hallmarks: Stamped at the reverse with French control marks, the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the 18Kt yellow gold, the seven-digits serial numbers and signed in full as follows: "VCA OR .750 B1505DG".

Condition: The overall condition of this brooch by Van Cleef & Arpels is excellent. Beside the little normal wear there is no damage to the gold. The 36 diamonds are secured in their settings and this brooch was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
