Lapel cuckoo watch designed by UTI Paris.

Fabulous and very unusual piece, created in Paris France by the watchmakers UTI during the post war, back in the late 1940's. This lapel watch has been crafted in the shape of a cuckoo wall clock in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and feature a gas pipe chain to pull a mechanism to open the door. The door is embellished with a question symbol mount with diamonds and sapphires. The dial is gild, signed Swiss, black Arabic numbers, black hands and baton maker. 

Diamonds and Sapphires: Accented with two Ceylon blue sapphires and 10 European round cut white diamonds, 0.05 carats, F color, VS-1 clarity.

Weight: 25.75 Grams, (16.51 Dwt).

Measurements: 21 mm by 75 mm (0.82 x 2.96 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, the serial numbers and signed in full, "UTI PARIS ELIAKIM CAIRO MADE IN FRANCE 26178 SWISS".

Note: All parts has been revised and are in working and running condition.

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this lapel watch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
