A pendant with an ancient Roman coin.
Beautiful classic pendant crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and fitted with a bale to display in a chain. Mounted with a genuine Silver denarius coin from the ancient Roman period of the Emperor Lucius Septimius Severus AD. 193-211.
Obverse Description: The bearded portrait of the emperor Septimius Severus facing to the right crowned with laurels and the legend around: L SEPT SEV AVG IMP XI PART MAX.
Reverse description: The seated enthroned figure of Jupiter half draped, to the left, holding with the right hand the nike victory and with left hand a scepter, legend IOVI CONSERVATORI (Jupiter the Protector).
Diamonds: Mount with a pave setting of 10 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.30 carats, white colorless F/G c0lor, VS-2 clarity
