Pair of cufflinks designed by Kutchinsky.

This is an exceptional vintage pair of cufflinks, created in London England by the jewelry house of Kutchinsky, back in 1970. These gold and blue cufflinks are very elegant and should fit any wardrobe. They were crafted with an oval shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with textured and polished finish. They are embellished with two fancy carvings of natural Afghani blue lapis lazuli and are fitted at the reverse with movable hinged T bars.

Lapis lazuli: Mounted in bezel settings, with, 2 curved oval cabochon cuts carved from natural Afghani blue lapis lazuli.

Birthstone: Lapis lazuli for the month of September.

Weight: 20.25 Grams, (12.98 Dwt).

Measurements: 28 mm by 25 mm by 17 mm (1.10 x 0.98 x 0.67 Inches).

Hallmarks Stamped with British marks; for the city of London, the maker's mark Kltd, the mark for the assay of the 18kt gold, the letter P for the production year of 1970 and signed as follow, "KUTCHINSKY .750 KLT P".

They were a jewelry company founded in the 1890 and was always based in London, United Kingdom. They have been very well know jewelry makers, with attention to fine quality, craft and well-made designed pieces, This piece was made in the late 1960s when the company was more focused on larger pieces right in step with the style of the sixties and seventies. As usual made in 18 karats gold this piece is one of the perfect examples of the late Kutchinsky mid-century and modernist taste.

ConditionThe overall condition of these Kutchinsky cufflinks is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. Both lapis lazuli is secured in their settings. This pair has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and the authenticity.
