Italian Figa Hand Pendant-Charm Carved In Reddish Agatha With 18Kt Yellow Gold Mount

Italian Figa arm-hand fist pendant.

Beautiful and unusual amulet pendant, created in Italy, back in the 1970's. The hand is carved from natural reddish purple agatha and is mounted on top with a 18 karats framed bale and the wrist embellished with a miniature chain bracelet.

The 3-dimensional design depicts an arm ending with a clenched fist at the base

Has a total weight of 12.7 Grams and a measurements of 52 mm by 18 mm (2.04 X 0.71 Inches).

Stamped, with the Italian hallmark for the assay and guaranty of the gold, ".750".

Note: A Figa is a talisman symbol worn to protect against the evil eye, and to bring good luck when given as a gift. It's depicted by a clenched fist, with the thumb protruding between the index and middle finger.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent, with normal surface wear, there is absolutely no damage to the carved agatha, or to the gold parts. The bail is secure and in good working condition.

It is in perfect condition and can be used in a necklace chain or a bracelet.
