ART DECO 1930 Brooch In Solid Platinum With 27.31 Ctw In Diamonds And Rubellite

An art deco brooch with diamonds and rubellite.

This is a very elegant brooch, created in America during the art deco period, back in the 1930. The fabulous brooch has been designed as a basket bouquet and masterfully crafted in solid platinum with high polished finish. It is embellished with a gorgeous selection of natural earth mined gemstones, such; one octagonal reddish rubellite and one-hundred-eleven white colorless diamonds. The brooch is fitted at the reverse with a vertical hinged pin bar and a mechanical twisted lock.

Description: Mount in four-prongs and flat flush settings, with 105 round brilliant cuts diamonds, with a total of about 6.30 carats, white colorless F color, VS clarity.

Diamonds: Mount in channel settings, with 6 straight baguette cuts diamonds, with a total of 0.36 carats, white colorless F color, VS clarity.

Rubellite: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 1 octagon faceted cut (14 x 19 x 10 mm) of a reddish pink rubellite of about 20.65 carats.

Birthstone: Rubellite for the month of October.

Weight: 25.40 Grams, (16.30 Dwt). 

Measurements: 40 mm by 52 mm (1.57 x 2.05 Inches) and raise 14 mm.

Hallmarks: Electronically tested for .900/.999 platinum.

Collateral: This brooch is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
