Abstract Cuff Bracelet designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2021) for Tiffany & Co.
Exceptionally rare sculptural piece, created in New York city by Elsa Peretti for the Tiffany Studios, back in the late 1970's. This is a one of a kind abstract cuff-bracelet, crafted in the shape of an escorpio in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish. Fitted in one side with an invisible tension hinge for sliding.
Gemstones: Embellished with three free forms inlaid gemstones, carved from natural salmon coral. black jade and white nacre.
Weight: 82.35 Grams (52.78 Dwt).
Measurements: Fit a wrist up to 7 Inches (17.75 Cm). The widest measure is 51 mm (2.02 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark and signed, "T&CO. © 18KT".
Elsa Peretti, was a very famous designer that joined Tiffany & Co in the 1974 and change the complete role of diamonds and color gemstones in fashion for the everyday wear and elevating the status of the sterling silver jewelry.
