Bangle bracelet designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co.

An exceptional sculptural piece, created in New York city by the iconic Angela Cummings for the Tiffany Studios, back in the 1977. This colorful bangle bracelet is extremely rare and has been carefully crafted as a piece of art, with inlaid gemstones in solid yellow gold of 18 karats. The surfaces are finished with high polish and the bracelet is fitted with an invisible hinge, a discrete safety push lock and a security hinged slash for extra safety. 

Gemstones: Embellished with carvings of natural agates of different colors, inlaid in the gold creating an organic patterns comparable to the artistics works of Georgia O'Keefe.

Weight: 82.7 Grams, (53.02 Dwt).

Size: Fit a wrist up to 7 Inches (17.75 Cm).

Measurements: The width run from 35 mm to 15 mm (1.38 to 0.59 Inches). The thickness is 5 mm.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the Tiffany & Co. maker mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "T&CO. © .750".

Angela Cummings was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.

Note: This piece is very nice and a very rare collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.

ConditionThe overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All inlaid gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
