An Italian retro modernism ring.
An unusual and ultramodern piece of art, created in Italy back in the 1960's. This statement sculptural ring has been crafted with spatialism parameters in solid yellow gold of 14 karats, with high polished finish. Mounted with a geometric arrangement of natural gemstones.
Gemstones: Bezel set with three semi-round cabochon cut of 10 mm of natural greenish blue turquoises.
Others: A sphere of 22 mm carved from natural black onyx.
Weight: 17.9 Grams, (11.47 Dwt).

Measurements: 31 mm by 31 mm (1.22 x 1.22 Inches) and raise 23 mm over the finger.

Note: Spatialism is an art movement founded by the Italian artist Lucio Fontana in Milan in the 1947 in which he grandiosely intended to synthesize colour, sound, space, movement and time into a new type of art. The main ideas of this movement were anticipate in his Manifiesto Blanco, published in Buenos Aires in 1946. In it he spoke of a neo "spatial" art in keeping the spirit of the post war age.
