Cartier Dinh Van 1968 Paris 18Kt Yellow Gold Rare Geometric Ball Ring

A geometric ball ring designed by Jean Dinh Van for Cartier.

This little sculpture and portable work of art, was designed by Dinh Van exclusively for Cartier in Paris between the 1968 and 1970. It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karat and the surfaces are finished with very high polish.

This art-piece have a total weight of this ring is 5.6 grams and the actual size is 4, cannot be sized one size up or down.

The top view measures are 16 mm by 10 mm and the ball raise 14 mm over the finger.

It is Stamped, with the maker's mark, the serial numbers, the gold assay hallmark and signed, "CARTIER DINH VAN 18 KT C 87179".

Jean Dinh Van is a French designer that began is successful career in the 1960 designing for the French jewelry houses of Cartier and Pierre Cardin. In 1972 he started his own company and the followed years his revolutionary designs and style caught on quickly and launched him to the forefront of the jewelry and fashion world.
