Pair of earrings designed by Angela Cummings.

Great three-dimensional sculptural pieces, created by Cummings at her New York studio, back in the 1987. This pair of earrings has been designed, with an intricate patterns of perforations, carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats. The surfaces are treated with frosted satin finish. Suited at the reverse, with posts (Removable) for pierced ears and omega backs for fastening clips.

Have a total weight of 33.5 Grams and a measures of 25 mm by 26 mm (1 x 1.02 Inches).

Stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed in full, "ANGELA CUMMINGS 1987 .750".

Angela Cummings was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.

A very nice and rare collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.
