Pair of earrings with ancient coins of Alexander III "The Great"
A modernist pair crafted in solid 18 karats of high polished yellow gold and suited with post (Removable) and hinged omega backs for fastening clips.
They are mounted, with a pair of authentic ancient Greek silver coins from the period of the king Alexander III "The Great". They are two silver Drachms from the Macedonian kingdom struck between the 336-323 bc.
Obv description: The portrait bust of Herakles facing to the right and wearing a lion's scalp in the head.
Rev description: The seated figure of Zeus, enthroned and holding with the left hand a falcon and a victorious laurel, the name of alexander αλέξανδρος vertical in the right campus.
This pair have a total weight of 18.95 Grams and a diameter of 22.5 mm.
Stamped with the the assay hallmarks, "18 KT".
