The beautiful necklace has been crafted by the KALO jewelry company in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with polished finish. The design of the necklace is composed by eleven graduated curvilinear links in the liberty style and is fitted with a security spring ring. Jewelry pieces by KALO are highly collectable and hard to find the antique market.

The Kalo Shop was a prominent American Arts and Crafts movement silver studio founded in 1900 in Chicago, Illinois. It was known for its distinctive hand-wrought silver jewelry and metalwork, particularly its "puffy" jewelry lines. The company was founded by Clara P. Barck Welles and a group of six females, all graduates from the Art Institute of Chicago. The company name is take from the Greek word, "to make beautiful".
