This elegant antique bar brooch was created in London, England, around 1900 for the prestigious jewelry house of Hancocks & Co. Beautifully crafted in solid 18-karat rich yellow gold with a high-polished finish, the brooch is designed as a finely detailed horsefly, showcasing the exceptional artistry of the Edwardian period.

Hallmarks Stamped with British marks; the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the .750/.999 gold and signed as follows, "HC 18CT".
