Beautiful and colorful Italian piece, crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish and embellished with a great selection of natural gemstones.

Mounted in the center in a four-prongs setting, with one heart brilliant cut (7.92 x 9.15 x 4.38 mm) of a natural vivid pigeon blood red ruby of 2.42 carats.

The sides are mount, with a calibrated pave setting of 42 round brilliant cut diamonds, with a combined weight of 1.69 carats, F color, VS-2 clarity.

Has a total weight of 11.8 Grams and the actual size is 6.25 sizeable. The top view measures are 13 mm by 20 mm.

Stamped, with the maker's mark and the Italian gold assay hallmark, ".750".

Collateral: This ring is accompanied by the GIA certificate report number 2221182800, stating that the Red Ruby is natural, with a weight of 2.42 carats, transparent and from Thailand origin.

Note: Pigeon's blood is the term applied to the most highly saturated colour and natural red fluorescence possible in a ruby. The term is said to have originated from Burma, where locals call the finest and most vivid rubies ko-twe meaning “pigeon's blood.” Other sources claim that the perfect ruby is also the color of the central point of a pigeon's eye.
