Georg Jensen 1970 Denmark By Nina Koppel Fusion Puzzle Set Of Rings In 18Kt Gold

Three-rings set designed by Nina Koppel (1940-1990) for Georg Jensen.

Nice trio designed by Koppel back in the 1970's for the Georg Jensen. Each fusion ring was individually crafted in solid 18 karats of yellow and white gold, with high polished surfaces. This fusion free-forms rings can be used individually, as a duo or together since each ring fits the other like puzzle figures.

Have a combined weight of 17.9 grams and the actual size is 7.5 / 8, cannot be sized.

Each piece is stamped, with  the post 1945 maker's mark, the gold assay hallmarks and signed, "GEORG JENSEN DENMARK .750".

Nina Koppel, born in 1940. Graduated in textile design from the school of arts and crafts in Copenhagen in 1966, returning to teach there later in her career. Koppel did not restrict herself to textile design however; she collaborated with other artists throughout her career and created clothing and soft furnishings along with successful jewelry designs. Her intelligent and empathetic designs have been exhibited in several significant venues including the Danish museum of decorative art.

Condition: The overall condition of this rings is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. This pieces has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
