FRED Paris 1970 Sculptural Cocktail Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Carved Wood

A cocktail ring designed by Fred of Paris.

This is an exceptional modernist cocktail ring created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Fred Joaillier, back in 1970. This rare ring has been carefully crafted with circled geometric patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished and textured finishes. The design of the ring is composed by three circular elements in different levels, which are embellished with round pieces carved from precious wood. This ring is very rare and we has not been able to locate other pieces from this collection, as a note we are offering in our other listings the matching Fred of Paris wood bracelet in suite to this cocktail ring.

Hallmarks: Stamped with French national marks; the maker's mark ER with a cat's face inside a lozenge cartouche, the mark of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the 18kt yellow gold and signed as follows: "FRED OR .750".
