FRED LEIGHTON New York Sculptural Earrings In Makassar Ebony And 18 Kt Yellow Gold
Ebony earrings designed by Fred Leighton.
This is a fabulous pair of sculptural earrings, created in New York City by the iconic jewelry house of Fred Leighton. The earrings have been crafted with parts carefully carved in natural precious Makassar wood, which are mounted in frames made up in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The woods parts are embellished with twenty-eight inlaid round gold dots in high relief, creating a geometric pattern with a reminiscence to the French designer Rene Boivin. They are fitted with concealed gold posts for pierced ears and butterfly push backs.
