French Belle Époque pendant-brooch with color changing sapphires.
This is a magnificent antique piece created in Paris France during the Belle Époque period, back in 1890-1900. The pendant-brooch has been crafted with neo classic patterns in the style of Louis XVI in solid yellow gold of 22 karats and decorated with chiseled garlands. It is embellished with five natural purple sapphires, three of them color changing. Fitted at the reverse with a hinge vertical pin with a mechanical lock to wear as a brooch.

Diamond: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 round European cut diamond of about 0.07 carats, near colorless F color, VS/SI clarity.
Birthstone: Sapphires for the month of September.
