Convertible dangle drops earrings designed by Mikimoto.

These are a gorgeous pair of convertible dangle earrings, created in Japan by Mikimoto back in 1980. The earrings have been beautifully crafted as a day and night, with classic patterns in solid white gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. They are embellished with twenty-eight natural earth mined diamonds and two cultured round white pearls of 12 mm. They are fitted at the reverse with hooks to remove the dangle parts, retractable posts for pierced and unpierced ears and comfortable hinged omega backs for fastening clips.

Diamonds: Mounted in V shaped prongs settings, with 6 calibrated marquise brilliant cut diamonds, 1.20 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.

Diamonds: Mounted in four-prongs and flush settings, with 20 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.72 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.

Diamonds: Mounted in side-prongs settings, with 2 emerald cut diamonds, 0.16 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.

Pearls: Mounted in dangling settings, with 2 cultured white pearls of 12 mm.

Birthstone: Pearls for the month of June.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark M inside a shield associated with Mikimoto, the mark for the assay and warranty of the .750/.999 gold and signed as follows, "M 18KT".
