This is a beautiful ring created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 2003. This model is part of the desirable collection Baiser Du Dragon, launched in the early 21th century. This iconic cocktail ring was masterfully crafted with geometric patterns in solid white gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The ring is embellished with a fabulous selection of one-hundred-twenty-three natural earth mined gemstones, including: calibrated white colorless VS diamonds and well matched Burmese vivid red rubies. Le Baiser du Dragon
The collection Le Baiser du Dragon was introduced in 2003, draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of China, blending Cartier’s Parisian elegance with elements of Eastern mysticism. The dragon, a central motif in Chinese culture, symbolizes strength, wisdom, and protection. By incorporating the dragon into its design, Cartier crafted a pendant that is both a tribute to ancient traditions and a statement of modern sophistication. Cartier to go back more than a century in creating its Le Baiser du Dragon collection of jewelry. The rings, bracelets and necklaces are inspired by the company’s first use of Chinese art in 1888. Ever since then, Chinese figures, animals, demigods and Buddha have been recurring themes in Cartier’s creations and the company frequently uses mother of pearl, jade and coral, incorporating the Asian materials and designs into its more typical Art Deco-themed pieces. For Le Baiser du Dragon, or The Kiss of the Dragon, the jeweler turned to Chinese symbols: ribbons of silk, padlocks, wind chimes and, of course, dragons.

Rubies: Mounted in a channel setting, with 27 calibrated buffed top squared cabochon cuts of natural Burmese vivid red rubies, with a total combined weight of about 1.35 carats.
