CARTIER Paris 1970 Automatic Large Ceinture Wristwatch In 18 Kt Yellow Gold

An automatique Ceinture large wrist-watch designed by Cartier. 

This is the rare large model of the Ceinture automatique wristwatch, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 1970. It was crafted in an octagonal shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The wristwatch was exclusively retailed at the Paris branch, note the dial is signed Paris, not Swiss, indicating that this watch was originally sold in Cartier’s Paris boutique. This model is very scarce and desirable. Powered by self-winding movement housed in raised plateau on case back.
