Cartier 1970 Geometric Ring In 18Kt Gold With VS Diamonds And Tiger Eye Quartz

Sculptural ring designed by Cartier.

Very rare and unusual geometric piece created by the house of Cartier, circa 1970. It was crafted with a squared shape in solid 18 karats yellow gold. The ring is finished with high polished surfaces.

Set on top with a rectangular flat element, carved from natural Tiger's eye quartz, with a weight of about 10.5 carats.

The sides are accented, with 8 calibrated round brilliants cuts diamonds, 0.20 carats, F/G color, VS-2 clarity. 

Have a weight of 15.4 Grams and the actual size is 5, sizeable. The top view measures are 9 mm by 20 mm

Signed and stamped with assay hallmarks, "CARTIER 18Kt 39037".

Note: The design of this one-o-a-kind ring can be attributed to the Canadian designer Roger Lucas. Between 1968 and 1972 Lucas designed around 100 unique pieces for the house of Cartier.

Collateral: It is accompanied by the designer's presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This ring has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
