ART-DECO 1935 Black Enameled Concealed Watch Lighter In 14Kt Yellow Gold

An art-deco concealed pocket-watch lighter.

This is a very rare concealed watch-lighter created in America during the art-deco period, back in 1935. The fabulous piece has been designed with elegant and sleek art deco rectangular patterns in solid yellow gold of 14 karats and parts in sterling silver. It is embellished all around with applications of black enamel. The piece is fitted with a concealed slider for the clock and a removable lid for the petrol lighter.

Movement: Swiss mechanical hand wingding.

Dial: Rectangular, black, four Arabic golden numerals with batons and gold hands.

Period: Art-Deco, 1935.

Measurements: 76 mm by 13 mm by 8 mm (3.01 x 0.51 x 0.31 Inches).

Hallmarks: Unmarked and electronically tested with results as follows. 14 karats gold, .585/.999 Au, and sterling silver .925/.999 Ar.
