ART DECO 1925 Chinoiserie Oval Ring In 14Kt Yellow Gold With Carved Jade

An American art deco chinoiserie ring designed by F & F Felger Inc.

This is a beautiful ring created in America during the art deco period, circa 1925. This ring has been designed with chinoiserie patterns by the New Jersey's based jewelers of F & F Felger Inc. Masterfully crafted in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with polished finish. The sides are decorated with incised and engraved geometric patterns and embellished on top with one oval cabochon cut carved from natural green jade, which is not dyed or treated. The jade has been carefully carved with chinoiserie floral patterns.

They was a highly prestigious American fine jewelry manufacturer from Newark, NJ, established in 1911, known for supplying major retailers like Cartier and Tiffany & Co. and producing distinctive pieces, including Art Nouveau rings with the iconic mark, preserving classic designs that are now collector's items. While the original company isn't active, their legacy continues through preserved designs, with some being incorporated by other historic houses like Jabel Jewelry, ensuring their quality craftsmanship endures.

Hallmark: Stamped with the maker's mark associated to F&F Felger Inc., the mark for the assay and guaranty of the .585/.999 yellow gold and signed as follows, "FFF 14KT".
