CHARLES AERNI 1938 Art Deco Lady Wristwatch 14Kt Rose Gold Rubies & Diamonds
An art deco lady wristwatch designed by Charles Aerni.
This is a beautiful and elegant lady wristwatch created in Switzerland by the Charles Aerni Watch Co. back in the 1938. The watch has been crafted in solid rose gold of 14 karats with very nice double tubogas-chains bracelet. It is embellished with six diamonds and eight red rubies. The bracelet of the wristwatch is fitted with a concealed hinge snaps locks.
Country: La Fonde, Switzerland.
Period: Art-deco, retro, 1938-1940.
Diamonds: Mounted in flush settings, with 6 calibrated European round cut diamonds, 0.18 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity.
Rubies: Mount in flat prongs and channel settings, with 8 red rubies with a combined weight of about 0.32 carats.
Weight: 20.5 Grams, (13.20 Dwt).
Length: 6.5 Inches, (16.51 Cm.).
Measurements: 41 mm by 20 mm (1.62 x 0.79 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark for Charles Aerni, the mark for the assay and warranty of the gold and signed as follows, "AERNI 14KT".
Collateral: This Charles Aerni wristwatch is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this Charles Aerni wristwatch is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 14 gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
