Art nouveau enameled flower pendant and earrings.

Beautiful and colorful set composed by a pair of stud earrings and a pendant, created in America during the Edwardian and the Art Nouveau periods, back in the 1905. This set has been carefully crafted in the shape of four-petals flowers in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with polished finishes. They are embellished with applications of glass hot enamel, with colors gradations of blue and yellow. The enamel work is exceptional and meticulous, far exceeding the details of the fibers and veins of the leaves. This suite is exquisite and made with exceptional details. Flowers symbolize a hope that love should not be forgotten. The studs earrings are fitted at the reverse with posts for pierced ears with the butterfly push backs and the pendant with a concealed ring to wear in a thin chain.

Diamond: The pendant is mounted in the center in a four-prongs setting, with 1 round brilliant cut diamond, 0.02 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.

Weight: 2.70 Grams (1.73 Dwt).

Measurements: 10 mm by 10 mm  (0.39 x 0.39 Inches).

Hallmarks: The three pieces are stamped with the mark for the assay of the 14Kt gold.

The Edwardian Jewelry

This period was during the King Edward VII, after whom this period of jewelry history is named, reigned over England for only nine years, yet the style of jewelry known as “Edwardian” was created roughly between 1890 and 1920. Edwardian-era rings tend to be larger, opulent pieces, and stacked ring designs were popular. The metal surfaces of the rings were often diamond-encrusted for additional shimmer. Each of these rings is a work of art, showcasing a bygone era of grace, elegance and the royalty the Edwardian era is named for.

Collateral: This suite is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this suite is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All parts are secured in the setting and the enamel is perfect. This set has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
