Cuff bracelet designed by David Webb (1925-1975).

Very beautiful and colorful cuff bracelet, created in New York city at the jewelry atelier of David Webb. This gems-set vintage cuff bracelet has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The bracelet is embellished with three natural earth mined gemstones such; an emerald, a ruby and a sapphire. Fitted in one side with a hinged pressure spring for opening and comfort

Emerald: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (7 x 6 x 5 mm) of a translucent Colombian green emerald of about 1.54 carats.

Ruby: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (7 x 6 x 5 mm) of a vivid red ruby of about 2.26 carats.

Sapphire: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (7 x 6 x 5 mm) of a royal blue sapphire of about 2.27 carats.

Weight: 40.95 Grams, (26.25 Dwt).

Size: Fit a wrist up to 7 Inches, (18 Cm).

Measurements: The width is 10 mm (0.39 Inches) and raise 9 mm over the wrist.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the marks for the assay of the gold and platinum, and signed, "©WEBB 18 KT".

David Webb 

He was an American jeweler. On July 28, 1948, he founded David Webb, the company, which opened at 2 West 46th Street. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis  and Barbara Streisand and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. He born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1925, Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. In 1964, The Duke of Windsor purchased a bracelet for his wife. Diana Vreeland, a noted columnist and editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, was often seen with a David Webb black-and-white enamel zebra bangle.
