WALLACE 1971 Golden Aegean Weave Set Of Knives In .925 Sterling & Yellow Gold

A set of knives designed by Wallace.

These are a very nice set composed by eight knives created by the Wallace Company, back in 1971. They are the iconic Golden Aegean Weave pattern masterfully crafted in .925 sterling silver with 14Kt yellow gold accents and steel blades. They were never used, gently cleaned and polished.

The company was founded in 1835 by Robert Wallace in Wallingford, Connecticut, is a premier American silversmith known for high-quality sterling flatware and hollowware. Initially creating German silver (nickel alloy) spoons, the company transitioned to sterling in 1875, later famous for iconic, ornate patterns like "Grand Baroque" (1941) and "Sir Christopher".
