TIFFANY & CO. 1940 Square Pill-Box In 14Kt Yellow Gold With Vivid Red Rubies

A square pill-box designed by Tiffany & Co.

This is a beautiful pill-box created in New York City at the Tiffany & Co. back in the 1940's. The pill-box has been crafted in a square shape in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with polished finish and decorated with guilloche barley patterns. The box in accented in the lid with four vivid red rubies and is fitted with a three-barrels hinge and a thumb pressure lock.

Diamonds: Mount in bezel settings, with 4 calibrated round cabochons cuts of vivid red rubies, with a total weight of about 0.24 carats.

Birthstone: Rubies for the month of July.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the gold and signed as follows, "T&CO. 14K".
