Enameled center piece made in Barcelona
An extraordinary piece of Spanish silversmith, created in the city of Barcelona during the post war mid century period, in the 1950. This oversized massive center piece display very well and has been carefully crafted in solid .915/.999 sterling silver with polished finish. The stunning greenish enamel has silver and gold flecks and is complemented in the lower round base by five translucent enamel cabochons. This enhances the beauty of this piece. The inner section of enamel is on copper and also enameled on the underneath. This piece has a strong influence of the art & craft style and the unique Barcelona art nouveau style of the architect Antonio Gaudi.
Weight: 968.50 Grams, (620.84 Dwt) or 31.14 troy ounces.
Measurements: Diameter of 292 mm and a height of 145 mm (11.50 x 5.70 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with Spanish marks; the post 1934 figure of a Star with a large B for the city of Barcelona and the warranty of the .915/.999 silver, the identification maker's numerals mark 645B inside an hexagon.

Condition: The overall condition of this center piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All parts and the enamel are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
