HERMES PARIS 1935 Art-Deco Round Box And Trays Desk Set In .950 Sterling Silver
A five-pieces desk set designed by Hermès Paris.
This is a very rare desk-set created in Paris France by the luxury house of Hermès, during the art-deco period back in 1930. The fantastic set is composed by five pieces; one round lidded box with four compartments in the interior, and four round trays. The set was masterfully crafted with horse-stirrups patterns in solid .950/.999 sterling silver and fully decorated with machine engine turned, depicting the iconic barley pattern designs. The round box is fitted on top with a lid connected by two concealed hinges and a removable Quadri-form divider, which is embellished with 24 karats gilding. The condition is impeccable with no traces of wear or usage.

Hallmarks: Each piece is stamped with French marks, the maker's mark RD inside a lozenge cartouche associated to the silversmith atelier of Ravinet D'Enfert, the mark of helmeted Minerva inside an octagonal cartouche for the assay and warranty of the .950/.999 silver and signed in full as follows, "HERMES PARIS".
Condition: The overall condition of this Hermès desk set is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All parts are secured in the settings. These five pieces were carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
