SUDRE Art Deco 1930 French Barman Cigarette Dispenser In Burl & Cedar Wood
Barman mechanical cigarette dispenser bar designed by Sudre.
Fabulous and very elusive piece, created in France by Sudre during the art deco period, back in the 1930. This is a striking early 30's cigarette dispenser in the shape of a luxury bar, with a gracious barman. The bar is very elusive, the section where the cocktails are located contains a rail that, when slid, reveals secret compartments to place cigarettes. On the back, in the shape of a trash can, there is a space for matches and a scraper for them. This set was designed by Sudre and most probably manufactured by the French company Cado.
